Guest book entry by Anja from Stadtbergen

Date: 05.11.2017 Time: 17:33 Entry: A big thank you to Mr. Eftekhari for the more than excellent work and perfect restoration of my Roman terracotta oil lamp. Unfortunately, this was badly damaged during shipping, so that it was sent to me in badly broken pieces. It is a Roman terracotta oil lamp from the 2nd century BC. Chr., Which is a very valuable cultural and historical treasure just because of its age and which must be preserved. Through an internet search I came across Mr. Eftekhari's site by chance and got an overview of previously restored objects, which ultimately convinced me that I was with the right specialist here with my request. The result is more than satisfactory, I am thrilled - a lot of effort was put into the restoration, especially with regard to reassembling the filigree pottery shards and excellent work was done: The restoration sites are only visible when viewed very closely and closely, At first glance, however, you can no longer see any of the many broken points of the oil lamp. So that the terracotta oil lamp remains in its original condition as much as possible, we have decided that there should be no glazes, colored tints or the like of the bonded breakage points. Small gaps were filled in with clay. Thanks to this technique, the oil lamp retains its natural, original state and you can distinguish the original sound from the small, few added clay particles. I would like to thank Mr. Eftekhari for his time and the extremely competent work in the field of restoration work and I can only recommend Arios Atelier to others, so that many more art treasures are restored and preserved for us. Date: October 28, 2017 Time: 5:57 pm Entry: Mr. Eftekhari (ARIOS Atelier in Wiesbaden) repaired / restored an approx. 25 year old bronze sculpture for me in September 2017. The sculpture was broken in several places, making it unstable. Mr. E. welded the break points professionally, matched the color of the weld seams to the rest of the material and stabilized the sculpture as a whole. I can describe the price / performance ratio as absolutely appropriate. I would entrust Mr. Eftekhari with a job again at any time. Page 96

Guest book entry by Heike and Dr. Hartwig Büttner from Mainz

Date: 08/18/2017 Time: 4:01 pm Entry: This man is great! We have an old bronze sculpture of a miner from the hand of the sculptor Johann Friedrich Reusch (1843 - 1906), which is dated 1893. The figure ("Henner") has an eventful history and was honored around 1930 by an assessor in the mining industry in Essen on the anniversary of his service. During the turmoil of the war, the bronze sculpture was housed in a mine tunnel and, after the Second World War, was temporarily used as an exterior decoration. The surface was badly weathered and sintered lime had made a further contribution to the corrosion. In addition, the tip of the hoe was broken off and lost. After some research on the Internet, we then put the miner in the trusted hands of Mr. Ario Eftekhari. We are overwhelmed by the result: The figure has probably regained its original appearance without appearing over-restored. It exudes a special liveliness and the fine details are visible again in the correct context of gloss and patina. The broken tip of the hoe was masterfully and perfectly complemented by Mr. Eftekhari. Chapeau! Dear Mr. Efthekari, we owe you a very special thank you for bringing this bronze, which is over 120 years old and which means a lot to us, back to life perfectly with so much artistic sensitivity and with a masterly hand! I would like to pay tribute and respect to your excellent work and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who is looking for a masterful hand to restore valuable art objects! With best regards, Heike and Dr. Hartwig Büttner The photos (before and after the restoration) speak for themselves! Page 94

Guest book entry by Claus Moseke from Reichenberg

Date: May 15, 2017 Time: 12:45 p.m. Email address: claus.moseke@arcor.de Entry: When I was visiting a friend, I swept a filigree bronze statuette from the cloakroom table due to a certain awkwardness when hanging up my jacket Art object of considerable ideal value damaged. After the initial shock, I scoured the internet for restoration options and came across the Arios studio pretty quickly. After the figure and the broken off parts had been sent in, a cost estimate came pretty quickly, which I was able to present to the insurance company. The repair then took a few weeks, but it was worth it: Mr. Eftekhari actually restored the figure to its original state with a lot of effort, so that you can practically no longer see the damage. Of course, my friend was also very happy that she was able to add her favorite piece to her collection again in its old splendor. With the final invoice, Mr. Eftekhari adhered exactly to his cost estimate. I found the price for the restoration quite reasonable or even expected a little more. It is very reassuring to know that with the Arios Atelier you have a safe address for the future if you accidentally damage something beautiful again. I can unreservedly recommend Mr. Eftekhari's work :-). Page 90

Date: 06.02.2017 Time: 5:32 pm Entry: After reading the many positive entries in this guest book, I also asked Mr. Eftekhari to repair or restore a medallion made of Bakelite whose hinge was defective, and a letter opener and a miniature keyboard instrument, both made of ivory. I am very satisfied with all three works and at this point I would like to thank the many positive reviews. I was particularly surprised at how well Mr. Eftekhari managed to remove or retouch old, yellowed adhesive traces on the fine ivory work. Thank you for making this effort! Page 86

Guest book entry by Andrea Roth from Hong Kong

Date: Jan 3rd, 2017 Time: 9:25 am Entry: We live in Hong Kong, where I bought a small Tibetan Buddha. Thanks to the high humidity, more and more greenish spots developed and small oxidation holes ate their way into the bronze. I couldn't find an art restorer in Hong Kong, so I searched for someone in Germany via Google. That's how I came across Arios Atelier. The other entries in the guest book as well as the first contacts with Mr. Eftekhari with an immediate and obviously knowledgeable answer prompted me to send the Buddha on a trip and entrust him to Mr. Eftekhari. The decision was spot on - it shines in new splendor without looking restored or falsified. It is now also more permanently protected by sealing and the holes have been closed inconspicuously. Based on my positive experience, I am happy to recommend Mr. Eftekhari to others. Page 85

Mr. Eftekhari has kept it so that I can continue to use the ceiling lamp. You have to want to see "with your nose" in order to be able to recognize it at all. But nobody looks at a ceiling lamp that way. PS The cooperation with Mr. Eftekhari turned out to be problem-free and pleasant. Page 82

They urgently needed to be restored. Our choice fell on the Arios Atelier. We can subsequently congratulate ourselves on this choice. Because the handling of the order by Mr. Eftekhari was exemplary. He personally inspected the figures on site, made a binding offer at reasonable prices and personally delivered the restored figures on time. The restored figures sparked enthusiasm in us. Today I can no longer think about what I said to my wife when she came home with the weird, wobbly, broken figure that she was given as a present: "What do you want with that? Throw it away!" Today I'm glad my wife didn't do it, but instead put it in your study. Today the bronze has got a special place in our living room. Thank you again for your great work and of course for the extensive friendly contact. Kind regards - Bodo and Waltraud Kasper page 76

The vase was broken by an employee and we were actually of the opinion that these fragments could never be put together again. We came across your studio through the Internet, and I have to say that I am thrilled how you have put this beautiful vase back together again professionally and without blame. For that, my heartfelt thanks! The heirloom, a jug from the 18th century, was also broken during the move. Here, too, you have put the breaking points together so wonderfully that this jug is a much-admired heirloom in our house today. Thank you very much again, it was wonderful work! Date: 10/28/2015 Time: 5:29 pm Entry: I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very, very much again for the excellent work, the repair of my Chinese porcelain jar. A few years ago I bought this unique piece at a small Chinese antique market in Shanghai and am very attached to this souvenir. Unfortunately, it fell down and broke into many individual parts, lid and jar ... I researched on the Internet whether there was a possibility of a repair and that's how I came across the Arios Atelier. Mr. Eftekhari said it was not sure if it was possible because there were so many individual parts, but he tried. And exceeded my expectation! He was so good at repairing the porcelain jar that it can no longer be seen that it had once been broken. He even met the shade on the edge of the lid exactly. There he had to paint something too. When I picked up the can, I was so impressed that I asked if Mr. Eftekhari had also studied restoration, in addition to architecture. He said it was his passion. And I could see that clearly in this great work and I thought to myself that I came to the perfect address at the Arios Atelier! My little piece of Asia has now got its place back. Many many thanks! Date: 09/16/2015 Time: 2:09 pm Entry: In our sculpture, a crocodile made of hard plastic and painted red, a carelessness caused the tail to be broken off. Because it is a unique art object, I looked for a professional workshop for this unusual repair on the Internet and found Dipl. Ing. Ario Eftekhari. Mr. Eftekhari carried out this complex repair in such a way that our crocodile is 100% stable again without any visible spots. To do this, a thickening of the plastic had to be attached inside the body and a pair of metal rails so that the heavy tail would not break off again. At the end of the day, the break was neatly filled with a spatula and repainted. He mastered the entire work with flying colors and expertly, as the attached photos show. Page 61

Date: 03/31/2015 Time: 5:56 pm Entry: We had a plaster Madonna about 55cm high, which unfortunately was very battered. Sometimes something had broken off and the paint had flaked off in many places. We came across the Arios Atelier website through the Internet. Due to the positive reports in the guest book, we also decided to have our Madonna restored there. We had previously sent pictures for assessment. A few days later we got an approximate offer for restoration, since the Madonna could only be examined by picture. We then brought the Madonna personally to Wiesbaden and were able to pick her up again at the agreed time. The restoration was really perfect and the Madonna was as new, as desired, so that we are delighted with her sight every day. The cost estimate could also be adhered to. We can recommend the Atelier Arios 100%. Greetings from Oberhausen Ernst J. Page 58
