As a result of inadequate storage and, above all, inadequate care, it usually happens with ivory figures that they become brittle over the years. This makes the figures very prone to breakage. A good example is the Greek figure we restored. First the breaks and imperfections were restored and then we preserved the entire figure permanently in a special process.
