Restoration of a plaster figure of Jesus
badly damaged, colors barely recognizable.
The figure stood outdoors for several years. Almost the entire surface was very badly damaged, rough and porous by rain and external environmental influences. Using a special spatula technique, the entire surface was smoothed, painted true to the original and finally sealed. The seal acts like a protective shield, protects the figure from external environmental influences and also provides UV protection. So the colors don't fade over the years.
